:: SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT- September 2017 ::

As of September 1st, I will be taking some "time off" as I prepare to welcome a new baby into our family, as well as take time to work on new items! The current "plan" is to switch all linen & lace items over to ready-to-ship as I'm able to create and have inventory available, and embroidered outfits will continue to be released in ready-to-ship small batches. The best way to stay up-to-date on when embroidered outfits as well as linen & lace inventory will be available is by following along on Instagram @standardofgraceshop! Thank you for your patience as I navigate this new time of transition for my family!

When and how do I buy?
As of right now, new items will be launched as they become available. Items offered are a mix of both one-of-a-kind garments and made-to-order items in small batches. Previews and release dates are all posted on my Instagram @standardofgraceshop. Please check back often for the most up-to-date info!

When and how will my garment ship?
Current turnaround time for made-to-order items is 1-3 weeks. If you need your item sooner, please contact me and we'll work something out!

Ready-to-ship items will be mailed within 1-3 business days from the date of purchase. Items are shipped First Class via USPS and you will typically receive your item(s) within 2-5 days. If you would like expedited shipping to Priority (1-3 days) or Overnight, please contact me prior to ordering.

*Once items are in the hands of USPS, Standard of Grace is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance (and I do strongly encourage shipping insurance for my international customers), please contact me prior to ordering!

Do you offer custom orders?
Please see "Customs" page for more information on how to get a custom Standard of Grace piece!

How does sizing work?
As we all know, clothing sizes can vary greatly between brands. Measurements are provided for each ready-to-ship item and Sizing Guides are provided for made-to-order garments. I highly recommend ordering based on the measurements provided instead of standard sizing to make sure you receive the correct fit for your child. Unfortunately, refunds will not be offered for incorrect size ordered.

Do you offer returns/exchanges?
Because most items are one-of-a-kind, returns or exchanges are not typically offered. Please make sure you read product descriptions carefully before ordering. I take great pride in the garments I create and pay extra special attention to detail, but the nature of handmade items is that they may not be "perfect." However, that being said, if there is something wrong with the garment you receive, please contact me! I want you to love your purchase from Standard of Grace and will do everything I can to make sure you have a good experience.

A note on vintage/embroidered outfits--
Please keep in mind that these items are made out of vintage materials. Exact origins and fiber content are unknown and depending on the extent/condition of the embroidery, each outfit must be handled with extreme care. I highly suggest gently hand-washing these outfits to maintain their look and integrity. The placement of prints, patterns, etc. varies from piece to piece as each item is cut from a different section of the fabric. Also note that vintage and reclaimed fabrics are not perfect- there may be slight signs of age- these are not areas of damage- rather part of the fabrics history. I do my best to provide as much information as possible about the condition of the textiles, but if you have any questions, please ask before purchasing!

How should I wash my Standard of Grace item?

All fabrics are pre-washed (in dye and perfume-free detergent) prior to garment construction, so minimal additional shrinkage should occur. However, I still recommend that all items be washed in cold water (preferably on gentle cycle) and either hung to dry or tumble-dried on low to make sure your item stays looking new.

If your item features vintage materials (will be stated in product description) and/or hand-sewn buttons, it is recommended that the item be washed by hand to maintain the integrity of the materials.
